Therefore, using only cultivation power to refine elixirs was not feasible.
As a result, alchemists would typically combine their cultivation power with common fire during the refinement, allowing them to use only a small amount of cultivation power, or just the amount that required cultivation power, to complete the elixir; however, this method took more time.
This approach was only suitable for use under normal circumstances; if faced with an emergency, or in urgent need of elixirs, they had no choice but to use pure cultivation power for refinement.
