The world of Teyvat is a place of magic and mysteries, made up of seven nations each governed by distinct elements. Each region has its own particularities, unique cultures, and political stakes.
**Mondstadt**
Mondstadt, the city of wind, is known for its spirit of freedom and harmonious relationship with nature. It is a region where people live in peace, influenced by the Anemo (wind) element. The city is dominated by a large statue of Venti, the Anemo Archon, and life there is marked by the celebration of freedom and joy.
**Liyue**
Liyue is a nation governed by the Geo (earth) element, under the protection of the Geo Archon, Morax. This region is renowned for its prosperous trade and rigorous commercial practices. **Inazuma**
Inazuma is dominated by the Electro (electricity) element and governed by the Archon Raiden Shogun. This nation is characterized by an authoritarian regime and a quest for eternity. The inhabitants live under strict rule, with increasing tensions between the government and those resisting the electrocratic rule.
**Sumeru**
Sumeru is the region associated with the Dendro (plants) element and is led by the Dendro Archon. Known for its vast library and schools of wisdom, Sumeru is a center of knowledge and research. However, the pursuit of knowledge may attract secret societies or occult groups seeking to exploit forbidden knowledge.
**Fontaine**

**Natlan**

The Fatui are an influential organization from Snezhnaya, led by the Tsaritsa. They pursue ambitious political goals and seek to manipulate events to their advantage. Their influence extends well beyond the borders of Snezhnaya, affecting other nations and their politics.
**Secret Factions and Mysteries**
Teyvat also harbors various secret factions and occult organizations, each pursuing hidden objectives:
1. **The Windborne of Mondstadt**: A mysterious group operating in the shadows of Mondstadt, with obscure goals often in opposition to the city's official factions. Their influence is discreet but notable.
2. **The Monasteries of Liyue**: Some religious factions within the monasteries of Liyue hide secret motives. These groups may manipulate religious elements to achieve esoteric aims.
3. **The Underground Circles of Sumeru**: While Sumeru is a center of knowledge, some secret societies seek to exploit forbidden knowledge and manipulate information for their own ends.
4. **The Mercenary Guild of Fontaine**: Although Fontaine is known for its legality, clandestine factions and mercenaries act in secret, influencing affairs discreetly.
5. **The Abyss Cults**: These groups worship abyssal creatures and manipulate dark forces, seeking to extend the influence of darkness in the world.

**Markus's Abilities**
Markus Gramer, now reincarnated in this world, has acquired special skills through a mysterious questionnaire. These powers play a crucial role in his adaptation to Teyvat.
- **The "Nourrice" Ability**: Inspired by Yoojin from *My S-class Hunter*, this ability allows Markus to manipulate others' sympathy using specific keywords, facilitating social interactions.
1. **Last Gratitude**: Allows Markus to access the ability of a deceased person for a week, provided that person heard the keyword before death.
2. **My Baby is the Best**: Accelerates someone's progress for three days after hearing Markus's keyword.
3. **My Baby is Great**: Enhances the abilities and characteristics of a person influenced by Markus's keyword based on the number of people present during the encouragement.
4. **Young Shoot**: Enables Markus to recognize a person's hidden potential, identifying those who could become valuable allies.
- **The "Ghost Thief" Ability**: Inspired by the character X from *X and Ash*, this ability grants Markus stealth and thievery powers.
1. **Ghost Thief's Touch**: Allows Markus to unlock marks visible only to him and steal one of the target's possessions.
2. **Shadow Camouflage**: Allows Markus to hide in shadows, becoming invisible for five seconds. This ability has a five-second cooldown and does not allow attacking during activation.
