Ryu slowly stood up and showed his claws while crossing his arms while using [Lightning Style—Panther Claws] Jutsu. He moved the claws to the sides while lightning cracked on his palms and pointy nails grew a little.
'It would have been the perfect time to yell, Wakanda forever,' he thought, 'if only it was that universe.'
Ryu jumped and tried to scratch her using his claws, swinging left and right. He used the fighting style that used full-body kicks, scratches, and slashes. Tsunade could only dodge, as blocking without getting a scratch was difficult. Ryu landed a few kicks in between.

A single drop of blood would end this battle. Ryu took advantage of her fear of blood. She stopped holding back for a second and finally landed a frontal kick, but Ryu was prepared for it. He jumped back at the perfect time and used the kick's force to create some distance between them.
He used aerobic skills and climbed into thick trees. Then, like a jungle predator, he vanished into the dense forest.
Ryu said, "Lady Tsunade. Do you think your enemies will be kind enough to not use your weakness against you?"

Tsunade was caught off guard by Ryu's unexpected tactic, but she was a seasoned ninja, and Ryu was just a kid; even if he was better than most kids, he was not her equal at the moment.
She dodged at the last moment and then moved to punch Ryu. Ryu countered her punch by kicking the punch midair and pushing himself back using his opponent's force.
"This kid is amazing," Natsurama said.
"I know," Hiruzen replied.
Ryu, while continuing his onslaught, asked, "You think the next time you meet that snake he would be kind enough to show you mercy?"
The nickname of her former teammate irked her further, and she finally cracked the ground beneath with a downward kick.
"Enough of this," Tsunade said and went on the offensive in a taijutsu battle.
The fight continued, and Ryu dodged everything. Ryu, taking advantage of his smaller size and his fast reflexes, made it difficult for her to land a proper hit. Every time she tries to hit him, he either dodges or parries the attack.
Tsunade said, "Not bad, kid. Your taijutsu is very good for an academy brat."
"Thanks," Ryu smiled. "You are not half bad for your age."

Ryu punched straight from the side of Tsunade's dominant hand, which was not under her control at the moment. But unlike Tsuande, Ryu used his full strength.
Ryu said, "You broke two of my ribs. And now I have returned the favour."
Ryu smiled and added, "Always return what you receive."
Tsunade was covering her side with her other hand as she noticed a seal on her other arm.
"Paralysis seal," Tsunade said.
Ryu smiled, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Tsunade thought, 'In that fraction of a second when he dodged and I punched that tree, he slightly touched my hand.'
Ryu said, "I have taken away your dominant hand."
Tsunade thought, 'I never expected that I would be paralysed by a brat. Even Lady Chiyo of Sand, who is an expert in poisons, could not paralyse me. Not even the Hanzo the salamander.'
Tsunade then used her other hand and touched her paralysed hand and thought, 'But I am a grandmaster as well.'
Ryu thought, 'She released the paralysis seal very fast. So she is not just a medical ninja. The anime did not do justice in portraying her. She is a grandmaster in fuinjutsu and a really good one at that.'
Natsurama said, 'The boy paralysed her!!

Tsunade thought, 'He didn't use any hand seals or use his hands or palms. How did he do it?'
Others had similar thoughts. The only such person who could do this was the First Hokage and Tsunade herself when she had activated [Hundred Healing Jutsu].
Seeing her out of focus, Ryu attacked her, and Tsunade was once again on the back foot.
She thought while dodging Ryu's punches and kicks, 'He has regenerative chakra like Grandpa. No doubt about it.

Ryu said, "Never try that with another medical ninja. You will find yourself in a similar situation."
Tsunade asked, "How did you recover so fast?"
Ryu replied, "Who said I recovered? While I may seem fine, the effects of your attack linger, and my muscle control is completely messed up."
Tsunade asked, "Then how?"
Ryu replied, "When I try to move my pinky finger on my left hand. Then the thumb off my right leg moved. When I moved my thumb on my right leg, my pinky finger of my left hand moved.
I used all my muscles and memories of the new control system under the effect of your jutsu that randomised muscle control."
Tsunade asked, "You memorised every muscle in the body in that short time."

Tsunade then suddenly remembered what Hiruzen had told her about Ryu's memory.
