The desolate wasteland crackled with energy as the battle surged forward. Toneri weaved through a storm of lashing chakra threads, his blindfolded face strained with concentration as his glowing barrier shimmered under the relentless assault. His opponent, Mikoto, the Byakugan-wielding Otsutsuki, moved with cold precision, the threads snapping through the air like whips forged from raw power.
Mikoto, named for a deity associated with wisdom and purity, fought with an air of icy detachment. His chakra threads glinted faintly, each one humming with intricate sealing techniques designed to immobilize and drain. "You disgrace yourselves with this defiance," Mikoto hissed, his pale eyes narrowing. "You stand against gods, yet you fight like insects."
Meanwhile, Daniel faced Takeru, the taller Otsutsuki with twin Rinnegan embedded in his palms. Takeru, named for the storm deity, bore a proud and thunderous aura. His Rinnegan orbs hovered menacingly around him, charged with pulsing gravitational energy. His posture radiated disdain as he gazed down at Daniel with a sneer. "You should kneel," Takeru declared, his deep voice booming. "Even standing in my presence is an insult to the divine order."
Daniel smirked, brushing off the threat like dust on his shoulder. His green hair flared slightly as the energy of his Super Saiyan 1 transformation radiated around him, casting an emerald glow across the battlefield. His casual stance was in stark contrast to the overwhelming power coursing through him.
"Kneel? Man, I think I'd sprain something," Daniel quipped, casually cracking his knuckles. "Besides, I like standing. Gives me a better view when I punch you in the face."
Takeru's sneer deepened as he raised his palm, the Rinnegan glowing faintly. "Mockery will not save you from obliteration, mortal."
"Save me? Please," Daniel replied with a grin, his body flickering briefly as he vanished from sight. He reappeared instantly above Takeru, his fist hurtling down with immense force. The impact sent a shockwave through the air as Takeru barely managed to deflect the blow with a gravitational pulse. The ground below cracked and splintered, sending chunks of rock flying.
Daniel flipped gracefully in mid-air, landing lightly a few meters away. "What's wrong?" he asked, his grin widening. "Don't tell me that was it. I was hoping for a real fight."
Takeru snarled, the Rinnegan in his palms glowing brighter as he summoned a swirling vortex of gravitational energy. The vortex expanded rapidly, pulling debris, light, and air into its swirling mass. "Let us see how you fare against a god's wrath!" he bellowed, thrusting the vortex toward Daniel.
Daniel didn't flinch. With a flick of his wrist, his aura flared brighter, and in one explosive motion, he launched himself straight into the vortex. The energy tore at him, but he remained unfazed, his fists glowing with green energy as he spun through the attack. "You call this wrath?" Daniel shouted, his voice laced with mockery. "This feels more like a fan on full blast!"
As he broke through the vortex, he closed the distance in a blink, landing a series of rapid, bone-shaking punches to Takeru's midsection. Each strike sent ripples through the Otsutsuki's form, forcing him to retreat.
Takeru staggered slightly, his expression darkening with fury. "You dare lay hands on me?" he spat. "You are no god—you are a pretender!"
"And you're just another speed bump," Daniel shot back. His grin never wavered as he took a fighting stance, his feet sliding smoothly into position. His posture radiated precision and power, the culmination of martial arts refined far beyond any mortal's capabilities.
Toneri, meanwhile, was locked in a deadly dance with Mikoto. The Otsutsuki's chakra threads darted toward him like vipers, their movements swift and unpredictable. Toneri countered with sharp bursts of chakra, his hands moving in a flurry of seals as he created protective constructs to block the onslaught.
"You fight with desperation," Mikoto remarked coldly, his Byakugan glowing as he manipulated the threads with perfect precision. "It is unbecoming of someone who claims the blood of Hamura."
Toneri gritted his teeth, his frustration mounting. "And you fight with arrogance. That will be your downfall," he retorted, pushing his chakra barrier outward to repel the threads.
But Mikoto's expression remained unreadable as he raised his hand, summoning a massive spiraling thread that crackled with sealing energy. "You are blind—literally and figuratively. Allow me to show you the futility of resistance."
Toneri's blindfolded face remained calm despite the threat. He formed a series of seals, his chakra flaring as he summoned a construct resembling a massive, glowing bird. The bird clashed with the spiraling thread, the impact lighting up the battlefield like a miniature sun.
Back on the other side of the battlefield, Daniel remained unrelenting in his assault. He darted around Susano-no-Takeru with blinding speed, his movements a seamless blend of raw power and martial precision. Each strike was calculated, yet it carried the force of a meteor.
"Come on, big guy!" Daniel taunted, delivering a spinning kick that sent Takeru crashing into a crumbling pillar. "You're supposed to be a god, right? Show me something divine!"
Takeru growled as he rose to his feet, his Rinnegan shining with renewed intensity. "Enough of your insolence!" he roared, raising both palms as the orbs of gravitational energy began to converge into a single point. The air around them grew dense, the pressure increasing with each passing moment.
Daniel's grin faded slightly, replaced by a smirk of anticipation. "Now we're talking," he muttered.
The orb expanded rapidly, pulsating with destructive energy as Takeru unleashed it with a thunderous roar. Daniel crouched low, his aura condensing around him as he prepared to meet the attack head-on.
"Alright, time to get creative," Daniel said to himself. He spread his arms wide, green energy spiraling around him like a tempest. With a sudden burst, he thrust his hands forward, forming a massive, emerald-colored energy wave that collided with the gravitational orb. The impact created a cataclysmic explosion, sending shockwaves across the battlefield.
As the dust cleared, Daniel stood tall, his aura flickering like flames. His green hair glowed faintly under the dim light. "Not bad," he said, his voice carrying a hint of genuine praise. "But you're gonna have to dig a little deeper if you want to keep up."
Takeru staggered forward, his expression a mixture of rage and disbelief. "You… dare to challenge me? To mock me?"
Daniel laughed, his tone light and almost mocking. "Yeah, I dare. That's kind of my thing."
Both battles raged on, the clash of energies lighting up the wasteland as the fighters pushed each other to their limits. Despite his overwhelming power, Daniel continued to hold back, his movements deliberate and controlled as he toyed with his opponent. For Toneri, however, the fight was a desperate struggle for survival.
