Chapter 164 - Wills

The afternoon sun bathed the vast land in golden light, its rays reaching every corner. A bustling tavern stood in the middle of the lively scene, packed with guests, many of whom grumbled about the long wait for their food.

A tall man in his twenties stood near the entrance, his gaze scanning the crowd. He turned to his attendant.

"Where is he?"

The attendant bowed before rising and gesturing toward a large tree across from the tavern.

"Over there, my lord."

The man nodded, a small smile playing on his lips, and made his way toward the tree.

As he approached, the sight before him was almost comical—a white horse lay sprawled beneath the shade, its ears flicking lazily at the sounds around it. Beside the horse, a man lay motionless, completely unbothered by the world.

"Willie," the man called out.

The horse twitched an ear at the familiar voice but didn't move. Neither did its master.

The approaching man chuckled, shaking his head.

"Both of you are alike."
