As he breathed heavily, Arthur's attention was brought back to reality as he noticed the notifications that popped into his retina. With wide eyes and a mind still pumping with adrenaline, he read the content and was immediately struck speechless.


"Huh…? Human Chimera?" Arthur muttered in disbelief before his eyes slowly moved to the blob creature he just killed. His eyes focused on its features and numerous body parts. He didn't know how he hadn't noticed that earlier, but it was perhaps due to the weird color of this monster's flesh, which was blood-red.


"Human limbs… Wait, wait, don't tell me…" Arthur gulped. "Was this thing… a combination of humans?"
