Arthur, like everyone else, had heard of the game and was as excited as everyone else to try it, if not even more. With how much he grew bored of his life on earth, this fantasy world was like the divine call he had been searching for. However, there was a very small problem.


He had no money to buy the machine required to access Divinity Online. His wretched life had turned him into a broke teenager with no parents, and no relatives. But, by some kind of luck, he got his hands on one of those machines.

Chapter 332- The World Of Eternal Torment (Part 1)


All of Arthur's senses were engulfed in a cold darkness. He couldn't even find the moment to look around as the large waterfall dragged him into the abyss of this hole. He didn't think it was going to be that dark and deep.


Arthur's wide eyes took in the sight of this endless abyss, and it immediately made him feel a deep sense of suffocation unlike anything else before that. Even the darkness of the frozen lake couldn't compare to this sight.


Nothing about it was calm or quiet. It was chaotic, moving in ways Arthur couldn't comprehend. He felt as if something was shaking and moaning in the depths of it, but there was nothing down there.


He fell through the darkness; his sheet of ice disappeared somewhere when he didn't look. Now, it was his small body falling through the darkness at a horrifying speed. The sound of the wind whistled in his ears before it eventually quietened, and all he could hear was his breathing.
