If there was one thing Sergi couldn't understand at all, it was the fact Deka kept siding with Arthur again and again. During the entire trip, she always defended him and stopped Sergi from dealing with him.
As far as he was aware, Deka only knew Arthur for as long as he did. How come does she trust him that much? It made no sense at all.
'What does she see in that bastard to do all of this?! He's a goddamn Gifted One, Deka! Why do you want him with us?' He clenched his teeth as he looked at her with a complicated expression.
As much as Sergi was angry with her, he still saw her as a dear friend and someone he couldn't lose. All his anger was coming out of worry for this group and their well-being. Too many have already died, they cannot afford to lose even more people. He cannot handle more losses.
"You! You have been nothing but a curse on us! All we got since you appeared is death and even more death!" He yelled.
