"Belphegor?" Eric widened his eyes in shock. "You demon!"
"Puny humans." Belphegor harrumphed and waved his hand, sending forth a purple aura.
Those who got hit by it suddenly felt lazy to even hold their weapons.
"What am I doing here?"
"I should have slept…"
Eric also got hit by it, but he managed to resist it with his ena. "Die, evil demon!"
A huge golden cross appeared in the sky and fell right on top of Belphegor.
Belphegor didn't even bother to blink or dodge, as though there was no need to do so. The snakes that became Gorgon's hair expanded and bit the cross before wrapping it with their bodies, ultimately snapping them.
Sebastian smirked. "Belphegor, Melissa. Kill him."
"Are you trying to order me to do something?" Belphegor glared at Eric.
"No. I'm just saying I can continue my research if we deal with them quickly."
Belphegor was known as a sin of sloth who gave people discoveries. That was why Belphegor shut his mouth after hearing what Eric said.
