Chapter 241: Frieza's Exclusive Training Ground!
Everyone glanced briefly at the battered and defeated Frieza, but no one paid him any attention. One by one, they went off to find their own places to train.
Cooler and Bojack, however, wore expressions of deep concern.
For a long while, the scene was silent.
Suddenly, a cracking sound was heard.
Frieza slowly rose into the air. His injuries were so severe that his entire appearance was disheveled and pathetic. His expression, however, was one of immense gloom and fury.
"Damn Saiyan monkeys!"
"Good! Very good!"
"You've successfully angered this king!"
"Once this king's training is complete, I'll shatter every one of your teeth! If you can transform, so can I!"
"We'll see who's stronger!"
Frieza's aura was terrifying. At this moment, he truly resembled a being who had clawed his way out of hell itself.
That's because he had clawed his way out of hell.
Now, however, his aura was truly overwhelming.
After a while, his energy gradually began to retract, and his expression revealed no trace of anger. Had it not been for the injuries covering his body, no one would have guessed that he had just endured a brutal battle.
"You two should go train and try to improve as much as you can!"
"Don't let those damn monkeys look down on you."
Frieza waved dismissively at Cooler and Bojack before flying off into the distance, clearly unwilling to let anyone see his personal training process.
The two exchanged glances but ultimately refrained from following him. Each went off to find their own training ground.
As for seeking revenge against the Saiyans?
They didn't even consider it. After all, even someone as strong as Frieza, who had already achieved his Golden Form, had been utterly crushed without effort.
If they tried, they'd only meet a worse fate.
It was better to train diligently.
Karl glanced at Frieza's departing figure and said slowly, "Old man, this might be too intense. What if it pushes him over the edge?"
"Ordinary beings wouldn't be able to handle this!"
"Do you think Frieza is an ordinary being?" Mu Chuan countered.
Karl thought for a moment, then shook his head.
"Exactly. Besides, if you don't give Frieza a little push, he'll never take his training seriously."
"I'm just worried you're pushing him too hard," Karl muttered under his breath, though he didn't dare say it loudly.
Anyone who's beaten so severely would undoubtedly snap at some point.
For Frieza to endure up to this point… he truly was extraordinary.
---
After leaving, Frieza found a remote corner for himself.
He didn't start training immediately but instead reviewed the battle in his mind. Although he had been utterly crushed by the opponent's overwhelming power, there were areas where his response had been inadequate.
He was too arrogant!
After analyzing the fight, he began training, albeit slowly and methodically. He didn't erupt with energy but instead carefully transformed into his Golden Form.
He controlled his power, letting it flow through his body. His goal wasn't to quickly increase his strength but to refine his transformation, which was still too crude.
Though his power was immense, using it efficiently was challenging.
If he could fully master the Golden Form, achieving the Black-Gold Form wouldn't be far off.
He didn't reject Mu Chuan's advice.
Everything had to proceed step by step. With his current strength still inferior, there was no way to exact revenge for now.
But the opportunity would come eventually…
Frieza trained alone for a month.
The changes were substantial. Black streaks had begun to appear on his body, though he was still far from completing his transformation.
Still, his strength had grown significantly.
Yet he remained unsatisfied.
The gap between him and Mu Chuan was still too vast.
One day, Whis suddenly appeared before him.
"Frieza, judging by your expression, you seem very eager to defeat Mu Chuan."
"That's obvious," Frieza replied, his tone cold and distant.
"I know a place. It's absolutely perfect for your training. If you train there, your strength will grow at an astonishing rate in a very short time."
"Are you willing to go?"
Frieza immediately paused his training, then slowly looked at Whis. "What's the catch?"
"Just fulfill your responsibilities."
Frieza was silent for a moment.
"Fine. Since I've agreed, I'll see it through. I won't slack off!"
"You'd better not!"
"Come with me, then."
Whis extended his hand. The next moment, the two disappeared in a flash.
After a long while, their journey ended, and they arrived at their destination.
Frieza looked around and saw nothing but ice. The freezing cold stabbed through him, making his eyes gleam with excitement.
This was the kind of place!
Only such an environment could fully unleash the power of the Frost Demon race. It was the perfect training ground for him.
If he could train here for several years, he would break through his limits and reach a terrifying new level!
"Well? Are you satisfied?"
"This is the most unique place in the entire Seventh Universe. The entire planet is like a block of ice, with no life forms to be found. The ice here never melts, not even in summer."
"Training here will bring unprecedented benefits to someone like you."
"Stay here and train well. When the Tournament of Power begins, I'll come to fetch you. Just make sure to live up to my expectations. Don't disappoint me."
Having said his piece, Whis tapped the air lightly and disappeared again in an instant.
He had no intention of chatting further with Frieza. He'd already said everything that needed to be said. It was up to Frieza to decide what to do next.
Frieza gradually calmed his excitement. He knew exactly what Whis expected of him. But he had no intention of slacking off.
If there was going to be a fight, then he'd fight to his heart's content!
Slacking off was out of the question.
Now, standing in such an extraordinary training ground, Frieza was beyond thrilled.
"Not bad! Truly not bad!"
"Ohohoho…"
"Mu Chuan! You'll never imagine how fast I'll grow! When the time comes, I'll crush you underfoot!"
"You damn monkeys will never escape the palm of my hand!"
"Tremble in fear!"
Sweeping away his previous gloom, Frieza's excitement surged. He charged into the ice mountains—not lingering on the surface but diving straight for the planet's core.
He gathered destruction energy in his hands, bit by bit piercing through the layers of ice. Soon, he reached the planet's depths, where the cold grew even more intense.
The colder it became, the more exhilarated he felt!
