As we fell through the sky, I looked at the scared expression of everyone around me.
The first one to calm down was, unsurprisingly, Kite, as she looked at the distant horizon, at the setting sun. And as if readily enjoying the free fall, she closed her eyes, letting her body fall on the ground.
Sebastian, on the other hand, was observing the city below us. His eyes look rather melancholic right now. Even though he was a bit alarmed at the sudden shift of places, he was the second fastest to calm down among the people here.
Unlike Kite, he focused down below, preparing his body to take the fall. Guess, he is someone who prepares for the worst possible scenarios, huh? Such a tiring way of life. But then again, given the way this world functions, I think it's the best way to go about it if you want to live long enough.
