Chapter 171 - Chapter 171: Uncle Sakazuki, Here’s an Adjutant for You

"Arghhhh!"

Miserable screams echoed through the scorching hell above.

A raging sphere of lightning hovered over the blood pool, releasing thick, serpentine bolts of lightning in all directions.

The lightning, like glowing silver branches, spread across every corner of the infernal prison in an instant.

Nearly every prisoner in their cells was affected by the scattered electric currents.

Thousands of ruthless criminals were shocked into crying, rolling on the ground, and convulsing uncontrollably.

"This is the power of lightning! Are you kidding me?! Is that navy brat a Rumble-Rumble Fruit user?"

"Stop it! I'm going to die from electrocution!"

"Please stop! I won't say anything bad about the navy again! Spare me!"

As Magellan clutched his stomach and rushed outside, all he could hear were the pitiful cries of the prisoners.

What he saw was the entire fourth underground level being illuminated by the flickering lightning.

Moments ago, the bloodthirsty and arrogant Shiryu lay unconscious on the ground, his skin charred black, smoke rising from his nose and mouth, his limbs splayed out in defeat.

Looking at Rorschach, who had returned to his normal form and was calmly putting on his justice coat, Magellan swallowed hard and opened his mouth to say something.

"Don't worry, Uncle Magellan. I just thought they were too noisy and needed some quieting down. I won't kill anyone."

The silver-haired boy smiled shyly, spreading his right hand toward the now significantly smaller lightning sphere floating in the air.

A thick lightning column slithered down like a living serpent, sinking into the boy's palm and merging with his body.

"Quiet?"

Hearing the agonized wails around him, Magellan gained a new understanding of the word.

However, Magellan wouldn't blame Rorschach for such a small matter.

Though he wasn't as ruthless as Shiryu, who slaughtered prisoners at will, the number of criminals who had died at Magellan's hands was not small either.

Shiryu had to cut them down one by one.

Magellan's Poison-Poison Fruit, on the other hand, could wipe out large groups in one go.

In this hellish place, mercy was the most useless thing.

Only more brutal methods could keep these lawless criminals in check.

Thus, instead of anger, Magellan felt admiration for Rorschach's methods.

"Colonel Rorschach, as expected of Zephyr-sensei's esteemed student. The leader of the new navy generation indeed."

"Uncle Magellan, you're teasing me again. Compared to you big shots, I'm still far behind. And please, just call me Rorschach. 'Colonel' feels too formal."

Rorschach laughed as he stepped forward.

"Is that so? Hahaha, Rorschach, I admire you. Would you consider working at Impel Down? Your abilities would be quite useful here, no less effective than my poison. I can recommend you to Fleet Admiral Sengoku to take Shiryu's place as Chief Warden."

"Of course, if you want to be the Vice Warden instead, that's possible too."

A rare smile appeared on Magellan's normally intimidating face.

Before he could finish speaking, an exaggerated shout echoed from the elevator entrance.

"I'm the Vice Warden! If he comes to Impel Down as Vice Warden, what happens to me? Is Magellan finally thinking of retiring? That makes sense; constant diarrhea makes him unfit to be Warden. I guess I'll reluctantly take over as the new Warden, hehe."

Magellan's face twitched, a vein bulging on his forehead as he exhaled a stream of purple poison gas.

Hannyabal, who had been rushing over excitedly, instantly collapsed to the ground foaming at the mouth.

"Brother Rorschach! Are you okay?"

A fragrant breeze swept in, and a navy girl threw herself into Rorschach's arms, making his cheeks flush.

"I... I'm fine."

Feeling the girl hugging his waist, Rorschach awkwardly placed his hand on her head and ruffled her hair.

Hibari's ears turned red, and she looked sideways from Rosha's embrace, raising her fair chin slightly to glance at the approaching Sadi, as if declaring her territory like a little kitten.

"Mm~ Colonel Rorschach, you're amazing. I'd love to be shocked by your lightning."

Sadi stroked her slender neck and squeezed her legs together.

"Does this woman have no shame? How can she say such embarrassing things?"

Hibari shivered, feeling as if worms were crawling over her skin, her body covered in goosebumps.

Magellan stood before the unconscious Shiryu, his face darkened.

"My apologies, everyone. It was my failure to manage things properly, and Shiryu's reckless actions nearly caused a disaster."

"I am guilty and will personally report to Fleet Admiral Sengoku."

"Uncle Magellan, you don't have to blame yourself. It's Shiryu's bloodthirstiness that's at fault. Besides, we didn't suffer any losses..."

Rorschach tried to comfort Magellan, but he raised his hand to interrupt.

"This is my responsibility, and I will bear it!"

"Shiryu will no longer serve as Chief Warden. He will spend the rest of his life in the Eternal Hell."

With a wave of his hand, guards came forward to drag the unconscious Shiryu away.

"Rorschach, didn't you want to visit Eternal Hell? I'll personally take you down."

Magellan said, glancing at Hibari and Law with a forced smile.

"You two can come along if you'd like."

"Can I? Great! I've always wanted to see what Eternal Hell looks like."

Hibari said excitedly.

Law stood beside Rosha with a cold face, holding his sword, saying nothing, lost in thought.

"This guy... is he feeling frustrated?"

Rorschach's advanced Observation Haki easily sensed Law's suppressed emotions.

In truth, Law was already quite strong.

But his opponent was Shiryu of the Rain, not a weak foe.

Even Aristos, who had died at Rosha's hands half a year ago, wouldn't have been a match for Shiryu.

If Rorschach hadn't possessed immense physical strength and powerful Haki, he too would have been injured.

Shiryu's Haki-enhanced slashes were no joke.

Suddenly, Rorschach seemed to have thought of something. He slapped his forehead and called out to Hibari , "Hibari, can you call Uncle Sakazuki's Den Den Mushi? I want to send him a gift."

"Huh?" Hibari's small mouth opened slightly, and a question mark appeared over her head.

Why would Brother Rorschach think of giving her father a gift at this time?

Could it be...

"A dowry...?"

Hibari's face instantly turned crimson, and she shyly fumbled in her pocket for the Den Den Mushi.

"I... I'll contact Dad right away."

Seeing Hibari's embarrassed expression, Rorschach immediately realized that this little girl had misunderstood him again.

"What are you thinking? It's serious business!"

Rorschach sighed, his lips twitching, and turned to Magellan.

"Uncle Magellan, hold on a second. I want to contact Admiral Akainu first."

"Contact Admiral Akainu?"

Magellan was stunned, not understanding Rorschach's intention.

"It's like this."

Rorschach pointed at Shiryu, who was being held up by guards. "Although Shiryu is bloodthirsty, he's undeniably a formidable force nurtured by the Navy. Locking him up in Impel Down's Infinite Hell would be a waste. Since he loves killing so much, why not send him out to the seas, to the New World, to fight those ruthless pirates?"

"Send him out?" Magellan frowned. "Impossible, Rorschach. With his nature, he can't be trusted with any position in the Navy. That would be gambling with the lives of soldiers. I won't allow it. Sorry."

"Haha, if he's not fit for a leadership role, then just make him an ordinary seaman," Rorschach said with a grin. "A seaman who's only good for charging into battle and killing."

"Still too dangerous." Magellan shook his head again.

"A bloodthirsty man like Shiryu is nothing more than a double-edged sword," Rorschach said seriously. "If you're worried about this sword hurting us, then find someone strong enough to wield it!"

"Just like how Shiryu couldn't act up under your command in Impel Down, Uncle Magellan."

"I'm going to find him a master he can never defy."

Magellan's expression shifted, his eyes lighting up.

"Are you saying...?"

"Hibari, What do you want from your Dad?"

In Hibari's hand, the Den Den Mushi transformed, showing a stern, square face.

The face wore a slightly stiff smile, which quickly turned serious.

Rorschach scratched his head and took the Den Den Mushi from Hibari, speaking somewhat awkwardly. "Uncle Sakazuki, it's me."

"Rorschach? What do you want?"

Akainu's smile vanished, his voice turning deep and imposing.

"Well, I wanted to ask you, Uncle Sakazuki, do you need an adjutant?"

Rorschach asked cautiously, his voice almost a whisper.

"Hmm? What are you planning? Do you want to be my adjutant? Hmph! With your meager strength, you wouldn't even be able to guard a single branch in the New World. Stop dreaming! Finish your graduation test assigned by Zephyr first!"

Akainu's voice was stern and heavy.

Even through the Den Den Mushi, his presence silenced everyone in the room.

This was the authority of Admiral Akainu.

"It's not what you're thinking..."

Rorschach wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and quickly explained his idea.

"...I want to transfer Shiryu out of Impel Down and have him serve under you. What do you think? He's quite powerful. If he fights some major pirates, he'll only get stronger. He might even be able to assist you, Uncle Sakazuki."

"Shiryu of the Rain?"

Akainu seemed to ponder for a few seconds.

Then, his deep and resonant voice came through again.

"Fine. I'll bring it up with Sengoku."

"Uncle Sakazuki!"

As the Den Den Mushi seemed about to disconnect, Rorschach raised his voice. "Isn't it dangerous to have someone like Shiryu, who craves blood, near you?"

"Are you afraid I'll kill him?" Akainu snorted coldly.

"N-No, I was worried about your safety, Uncle Sakazuki..."

Rorschach was drenched in cold sweat.

"Haha, if he can kill me, then he might as well take my position as an Admiral!"

The Den Den Mushi chuckled twice before abruptly disconnecting.

Rorschach and Magellan exchanged looks and turned their gaze to the unconscious Shiryu.

Suddenly, Magellan patted Rorschach firmly on the shoulder, his face full of approval.

"Rorschach, your idea is brilliant."

"You're absolutely right. Shiryu is bloodthirsty, but he's a valuable asset nurtured by the Navy."

"If he wants to kill, let him serve as a soldier under Admiral Akainu."

"Wherever Admiral Akainu goes, there is always bloodshed."

"Admiral Akainu's strength is ten times mine! If Shiryu can't even defeat me, there's no way he'd stand against Akainu. Under his control, Shiryu will become a sharp blade for the Navy."
