I took one hand off the steering wheel and swiped to answer then put the phone on speaker.
"Sis."
Her voice came out of the receiver
"You had something to do with the press today did they trouble you?"
I nearly rolled my eyes at their greed
"No not much. Why?"
She hesitated for a moment before saying
"Well, they're asking me to buy the story off their hands. I'm sorry I didn't know they would involve you."
I sighed
"There's no need for that. Just handle it like you were planning to there's no need to make any changes because of me."
She paused again obviously hearing my sigh and misinterpreting it
"Are you sure? Things might get a lot more difficult."
I shrugged then remembered she couldn't see me.
"Easy is as easy gets. Don't worry about it. Just do what you think is best and I'll follow your lead. No matter what, I have your back. "
She let out a low breath and I could feel her tone get cheerier
"Alright then. When next are you going back?"
