Outside the dormitory, Janiyar pulled his coat tighter against the crisp air and glanced around. The wind tousled his dark hair, but his focus remained sharp. Pulling his phone from his pocket, he dialled a number.
"Hey, it's me. Follow the boy. I want every detail about him, ASAP."
Without waiting for a response, Janiyar ended the call and tucked the phone away. His eyes scanned the area, settling on a sturdy oak tree a few feet away. He slipped behind it, leaning against the rough bark, his fingers drumming impatiently against the trunk.
