The medical tents at the end of the day were filled with annoyance all around. The second day of team style events had concluded, but they did not have a very 'good' day…
"Three yesterday, but *seventeen* patients this time - and barely a scratch among them! That last one didn't even try to fake a limp properly."
The senior healer complained loudly enough for it to carry across to the one arguably responsible for this fuss. Another medic sorted through now emptied supply crates, fishing out the last of the decorative wooden boxes that had contained the specially prepared ointments from the 'medical fairy'.
"They all asked for these."
The fancy box was a clearly 'excessive' expense - but it also wasn't solid gold! Even though everyone there had a measure of respect because of what they heard about the surgery, they couldn't understand this outcome. Rather… even they *understood* it, but could not accept it!
