Standing outside the closed door, Xiang Yu felt an unexpected pang of hurt. He wore an expression that seemed lost, his brow furrowing in confusion.
'I am not ugly that he would reject me, right?' he thought to himself. Han Xin wouldn't lose anything by accepting his offer. But the man had reacted as if he were asking him to cut off a piece of his flesh.
Disheartened, Xiang Yu turned away from the door and walked back toward home. There he found Lian and Mei waiting for him, their expressions mixed with concern and curiosity.
Xiang Yu sighed as he slumped onto the couch, the weight of the encounter pressing heavily on his shoulders.
"Master, did you have a fight with Lord Han again?" Lian inquired, her tone expressing her concern.
"Why are you calling him that?" Xiang Yu replied, trying to mask his annoyance.
"We are protesting against the injustice towards your master," Mei declared firmly, her arms crossed over her chest. "So until further notice, he is Lord Han."
