"How dare you hit my son?I've been trying," the luna asked angrily
I was already used to the expression on her face, right, filled with so much hatred like i killed someone dear to her.
"mom he hit me first I won't have done that if he had not hit me first and he literally ruin my hard work" I said trying to justify Eli behavior even though I know it was useless and calling her mother was something she except of me as her daughter whom she kind hearted took in.
"You hit my son your future alpha just because he hit you," asked dad, I knew he was angry, and he was doing his best to control his temper.
So him hitting me is justified by the fact that he is the future alpha and mine is considered disrespect and act of betrayal to the pack, wow whar a double standard.
"Dad, I am sorry," I said finally when I couldn't let him keep staring at me like he was about to kill me.
Mom got angrier when I apologized, and she hit me over and over again until dad forced himself to stop her.
"Vivian! stop, you are going to kill her if this continues. "

"Your daughter, I guess," I replied weakly

I like what was going on right, maybe they will tell me about my real parent, Eli said they know something and they make sure that anything related to my parents is forbidden issues, now they will be forced to talk about it.
I wish there is a way I can use it in convincing or better still blackmail them into spilling the truth.
All my life, I have been dying to know about my real parents, or should I say ever since I found out that I was not even related to Alpha sean and his luna.

Hearing what the woman I consider my mother my whole life saying hurt a lot, although this was not the first time she was calling me that.
But having her calling me names right in my face that she wasn't my mother hurt.
They didn't know I already found out about them not being my parents, and the alpha tend to be careful because I believe he doesn't want me to know the real truth surrounding my birth.
Alpha Sean started apologizing the moment he realized that his Luna was about to cry, and the whole conversation turned awkward.
I was later dismissed and sent back to continue my duties.
After so much effort, I was able to finish up my chores. I went straight to my room to take a nap, which is rear, but since everyone was getting ready for the gathering, I could relax.

The gathering was supposed to take place next week, but everything was changed,
I never liked the blue moon pack nor Henry, the spoilt son of the alpha, alpha sean. They may be the biggest pack in West Africa, but they didn't even march up to the red night, nor can they dream of coming close to it.
My brother and I have taken over as alpha for the past five years, and we have been searching for our mate ever since.
That was the reason my brother and I are attending the gathering so that we can find our mate, I hope we find her in the gathering because we are beginning to think we are both mateless.
My brother and I are both alphas of our pack. After all, we are identical twins, and we are both destined to have the same mate.
Life without one's mate was useless some alpha may say mate makes one weak but as long as you can protect your mate every other thing can come after and basics I will make sure my mate is not a weakly by training her my self that way I will be reassured that she can keep herself save when am not close to her or busy running the pack.
Although my brother thinks the same way that mate renders an alpha weak but I don't care course i want my mate, and i saved myself for my mate, unlike my brother. He has practically slept with almost every woman he has come across because I refuse him having anything to do with any she wolves from our pack.
I don't want anyone disrespecting my mate or, rather, our mate when we find her.
She will be respected by all wolves in a red light pack and that I have already laid the foundation for her. I hope I really find her tonight. The idea alone makes me so happy from within.

I felt a pang of disappointment when I turned around and felt empty all of a sudden, but my excitement remained. I knew I had to find her to make her mine.
As the night wore on, I searched the room, my eyes scanning the crowd for any sign of my mate. But she was nowhere to be found.
My brother, Damon, approached me, a knowing glint in his eye. "Patience, brother," he said. "She'll come. And when she does, we'll make sure she knows she's ours."
I nodded, and my determination was renewed. I would find my mate, no matter what it took. And when I did, she will have everything she desires.
