"Where are we going?" Sabrina asked Alex, who had come to pick her from the office after the close of work but was not heading in the direction of the house.
"To the hospital. You have an appointment with the gynecologist you were referred to today," he said, and her brows pulled together.
"I don't remember being referred to any gynecologist or having an appointment with anyone," she said, looking at him with a confused frown.
"That's because you were distracted and absentminded after the doctor told you of the fibroid. I doubt you heard anything else we said after he said that," Alex said, and Sabrina sighed.
"True. But why didn't you mention it? And why are we going now after the close of work?" She asked, glancing at her watch.
"The gynecologist is usually busy during the day. Also, I requested for it to be now so that it wouldn't affect your working hours," he said and she nodded.
"I see. Thanks," she said, flashing him a smile.
