After a simple wash, Alanna blinked her eyes.
"A wash really does make one feel much better." She looked at her own wriggling toes, then picked up a tissue from the table nearby to dry them off.
Having done that, she put her feet back on the chair and pressed down, leaning back in the chair to make a phone call.
"Bring me a new pair of shoes, and socks too, white ones would be best."
"Okay."
A few minutes later, a young female assistant knocked and entered, unfazed by the messy scene in the lounge room, she put the new shoes and socks in front of Alanna.
"Do you need help putting them on?"
"No need." Alanna shook her head.
"Then I'll be out."
"Mhm, have the car ready, I'll be using it soon."
"No problem."
Half an hour later
The night wind howled, and Alanna, riding on a hover motorbike, looked down at the city filled with high rises, feeling particularly good.
'Another sleepless night~'
