The king and queen glared daggers at the trio as they exited the palace. If looks could kill, they'd have ordered the guards to finish them off right there. After all, the trio hadn't even brought bodyguards to protect them—an oversight the royal couple found tempting.
"There's no way this is going to happen," said King Theous as he left the chair and headed to his room.
His wife immediately followed him.
As soon as they stepped into their massive bedroom—almost as spacious as the living room—she gently closed the door, leaving it slightly ajar.
"Just who do those people think they are to enter my palace and threaten me with such a thing?!" The king roared, his skin turning crimson red as a sign to show how furious he was at that moment. "How did they even get their hands on that information?"
