Both Xavier and Tracie stared at Kace with an unbelievable look before the both of them turned to share a glance.
Kace frowned as he walked towards them.
"What were the both of you talking about?" He repeated but their lips were sealed.
"It's nothing," Tracie managed to reply.
She didn't want to believe that Kace could be the informant. He was Xavier's brother after all. But what were the chances that he was working with Xander? Xander was his elder brother as well.
Kace had never given any of them a reason to doubt or suspect him.
Tracie slightly shook her head to stop her thoughts.
"I was just telling Xavier that he should take it easy on himself. He still needs to recover from that leg injury," she added.
Kace tore his gaze from Tracie to look at Xavier.
"He never listens to anyone," he mumbled.
"I'll be leaving now," Tracie said, her tone flat yet purposeful.
