Kizer looked down from the top of his ancient-looking tower, occasionally smoking from his golden pipe for pleasure as he watches how people below, who he deemed mortals, do their normal day. He does take pleasure in observing as it fuels his mindset that thinks he's above everyone in this world, which, well, he is.
It's truly a fascinating feeling from a once mortal like himself to see the world right now like a god, though a fake god since he can't see all things in all perspectives and all time from past, present, and future.
Though it will be really more excellent if he could really get the whole world today and start ruling it like someone considered as a god, but for now, he has full control over a very strong and massive city like Omashu as well as the other cities that are surrounding it.
Now that he thought about it, the wall that was being constructed is being built very fast and is almost close to completion. It was because it was getting significant help from all the cities that were sending their own earth benders from their army itself to help with the construction. But the project was still too massive to comprehend because when the wall construction is completed, it will be longer than what Ba Sing Se had and much stronger too since sub-element bending like Metal Bending are applied to it.
Kizer smiled, thinking about it. Now that it's almost complete, it's now time to prepare his army for the declaration of independence from Earth Kingdom. And that's where they will start being directly involved with the war.
Just then, a man, fully armored and covered on all parts of the body, came out from under and quickly knelt behind Kizer.
"Master, we found the library that you're looking for."
For a while now, Kizer had ordered his elite warriors to find the spirit library that was guarded by Wan Shi Tong, the spirit of knowledge. He remembers that it had countless books that he could steal to read. He was always thirsty for knowledge, and most knowledge could be gotten mainly in the form of books.
There are many libraries in this world that have thousands of books, but they're not enough to satisfy his curiosity, since they're mainly created by normal humans who in no way have expertise in any bending, so they just created fictional stories that aren't really interesting and couldn't come close to removing his boredom.
So he wants to read the book that is inside of Wan Shi Tong's spirit library. He could guarantee that it had thousands of books filled with unknown and new knowledge, so he couldn't wait to take those away right now. And that oversized owl will just watch him take them away, after all, he had the right as the strongest to take anything from anyone anyway.
And based on his knowledge, Wan Shi Tong couldn't really do anything to any of the Ten Pillars in his physical form, let alone do anything to him. It was basically like taking a candy from a child, or in Kizer's view, like taking a grain of sugar from an ant.
Without turning to face his so-called creation, Kizer ordered, "Tell Kaya and Bumi to come to me, and ordered all units to surround the library and prevent it from moving an inch underground."

Later, the doors opened, and Kaya entered together with Bumi, who was laughing about something, though he just stopped and kept his laugh to himself, making giggling sounds.
"Kizer!" Kaya said as she ran towards Kizer with open arms.
'This woman...' Kizer couldn't help but sigh inside while keeping his indifferent expression. He doesn't mind her behavior, but he prefers if she does it when they're alone only, not when someone is watching, it includes Bumi and her brother Hiro. It just forces him to do something he doesn't want others, except her, to see.
Kizer opened his left arm while keeping his right arm to hold the pipe. Kaya then straight up dove into his chest, hugging him, which he also did with his left arm.
"Why did you call me and Bumi?" Kaya asked while looking up at him.
"Kekeke, it seems that you found something interesting again..." Bumi said, giggling uncontrollably.
Bumi guessed it right because he once was invited by Kizer to visit an interesting pond out of nowhere once. It was located deep underground in the city Zhen is managing, which they accidentally discovered when they were building an underground training facility for their hidden army. That pond was inside an underground forest with even a waterfall inside it. It was interesting, but they didn't care enough to investigate, so they left it at that.
What made that pond interesting is that it speeds up the healing process of any wounds, deep cuts, or burned flesh. What takes a few days to fully heal now takes some hours. It was even more interesting since it doesn't run out of healing water no matter how much they take. It was later discovered that the water from the underground river was continuously supplying it, but they don't know how normal water turned into healing water since they've also tested the water in the river, but it doesn't work similarly.
Now those healing waters were being sold to citizens of Omashu and the cities around it at a small price. Want to get one? Be a citizen of our city. Though to be a citizen is a complex matter that needs a very complicated system, which Kizer personally created and implemented from the shadows.
It's just a pity that Kaya was not invited because that place is very dangerous with unknown plants and animals, but if she really saw it, she would be amazed at how beautiful it was.
"You're right, brother. My elite warriors have found the spirit library of Wan Shi Tong."
"A spirit library? And who is Wan Shi Tong?" Kaya asked with genuine confusion.
"Oh!! That library! I remember hearing something about that before," Bumi exclaimed, eyes wide open.
"Yes, that massive library with seemingly unlimited numbers of books that is guarded by an oversized spirit owl named Wan Shi Tong. It's been found, and I planned to go there today, and you two are coming with me," Kizer said and he looked at Kaya.
"Thank you for bringing me along, it's getting boring today," Kaya said before kissing Kizer on the cheek.
"Kekeke! I will finally see an oversized owl!"
