A sprawling private estate was engulfed in roaring flames, the fire so intense that it painted the night sky in hues of violent orange. Firefighters battled the blaze, streams of water arching high, but the inferno raged on, swallowing everything in its path.
Ethan parked at a distance, but Lily could feel the heat licking at her skin even from here.
