"Yes, got it. Thanks. Miss Bennet already gave her approval, so let's proceed to the next course of action." Grace stopped in front of a private ward, lowering her phone. As soon as she flashed the guards a smile, they moved aside to let her through. With that, Grace casually walked into Chairman Bennet's ward.
Ever since the scheme for Chairman Bennet's life emerged, this had become part of Grace's routine. It wasn't like she minded. She enjoyed spending time with him, and teasing him had become a great stress reliever. He always reminded her that she could control stress as well. After all, Chairman Bennet was often stressed for no reason or for every reason. This made her think that a person's reaction to things and stress could be controlled.
"Chairman," she called softly as she entered, stopping when she saw someone seated across the room. Her eyebrows rose, and her eyes fell on the elegant middle-aged man reading a book with a cup of tea in front of him.
