Lu Yuanming was neither a wise man, nor a brave one, nor a naturally significant figure. His rise to become The Decider was firstly due to a fortuitous acquisition of Demonic Essence, coupled with the pathway of Divine Essence—these elements enabled him to grow stronger. Secondly, he always treated people sincerely and was fortunate enough to meet many good people who supported and helped each other, leading him to his current status.
Although Lu Yuanming understood the way of conceptual combat in a moment of enlightenment, if you asked him to analyze and unravel it like a wise man, to craftily employ concepts, or to conjure an Infinite Sword System like some brave warrior... he simply couldn't do it.
And this was inherently a part of his Cognition. Just as when he fought with Starlight, his human cognition anchored Starlight, resulting in both becoming humans—except he was much skinnier.
