"Are the babies still sleeping?" Tang Anzhi asked as she walked down the hallway and saw the nanny coming her way.
"Yes, Young Madam, the young master is still asleep," the nanny replied.
"Oh, okay, you can go back to your work!" Tang Anzhi said. The little ones were about up at the time she had estimated, so it seemed they hadn't been affected by today's events.
"Yes," the nanny nodded and left.
Even though the little ones were still sleeping, Tang Anzhi decided to go and check on them first.
She entered the children's room and immediately lightened her steps, walking over slowly.
The other two nannies in the room stood up quickly to greet her when they saw her enter.
Tang Anzhi gestured with a finger to her lips to make a "shush" sign.
The two nannies then kept quiet, but they still stood aside.
Tang Anzhi approached the crib and saw her two sons sleeping sweetly, blowing bubbles in their sleep—utterly adorable, which melted her heart completely.
