CHAPTER EIGHTY-EIGHT
AUTHOR'S POV
Dr. Steve went in first, paving the way for the others to trip in with their variety of sourness.
"Dr. Raymond, we heard a scream. Can you tell us more about it?" Steve's friendly tone was absent. It had gotten straight-to-the-point sarcasm in its place. They were prepared to drag him out, should he lack a credible excuse.
Raymond finalized his deletion and stood up with confidence. He was a psychiatrist and was going to play the game of wits.
"Sorry for disturbing your peace. I had to help my patient overcome a trauma" The words walked majestically out of his lips, giving the four new souls in the room mental food. The mental psychiatric food of emotional blackmail. "Dr. Steve" he continued "If you can recall, about four months ago, you handed over a patient who had lost her memory into my care" he directed his gaze at Steve, leaving the others to feed on the crumbs from the conversation.
