CHAPTER SIXTY-SEVEN
ROXANNE'S POV
"How did she get to know about that?" My breath began to shorten and my eyes were about to pop out. "But we were the only ones in the room? How did she manage to?" I massaged my neck with my left hand, willing living oxygen into my lungs.
"oooh, you're shocked?" She giggled "There's nothing hidden under the sun—or rather, there's nothing hidden under or before me, whatever!" She rolled her eyes and took a deep breath. "Just have it in mind, that you can never have an upper hand when I'm concerned".
"What happened was a mistake. I.."
"I didn't know what I was doing" she mocked in a babyish voice. "I know that line too well"
Hot tears began to fall from my eyes. Was she going to blackmail me?
"Please Dera! Don't tell Edward. I'd do anything" I began to beg desperately. I was in love with Edward just as much as he was in love with me. If he found out about what I had done with a psychiatrist, I didn't think I could ever live with the guilt.
