CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

DERA'S POV

Selena moved around with her shining head, obviously forgetting how embarrassing she still looked. The lilac gown she was putting on was carefully handed down to her by me and though it fitted her beautifully, it still couldn't outshine my violet off shoulder beaded dress that had received compliment from left, right and center of the company. Her's could not be complimented because of its sorry state. This was so because, the lilac gown had begun to fade in colour, and I had decided to hand it over to the less privileged Selena who, like a complete animal took the dress with her whole heart without any complaint. She complimented her faded dress with an ancient decaying treasure. The sandal she wore could have certainly been used by the stone age men for hunting, for it was as ugly as a cow's faeces. Many workers had cringed at her outlook, even the ever holy Roxanne had let a look of disgust sit on her face.
