Everyone always told him he was smart growing up, but at that moment Leon would've really liked to go back and give all those people a smack for misleading an innocent child like himself. "Honestly, who would have expected that to happen? I can't believe I died this way.... NOOO!!!"
As you can probably already imagine by this point, this is indeed the moment right before reincarnation for our novel's protagonist. "In respect for our new entertai... cough, I mean enforcer this seat has decided to prevent your cause of death from being told here" Leo heard an unknown voice say from beside him.
"Holy shit!! Who the fuck is there?!?" Leon twirled around with superhuman grace and immediately jumped 20 feet away when he saw a random guy standing right behind him who appeared to have been there the whole time.
Warily looking at the man in front of him, Leon already knew he was dealing with a god, despite looking like any regular 30-year-old guy with darkish tanned skin that made it hard to determine his ethnicity and regular brown hair casually descending to his shoulders, it was his eyes that showed his true nature.
The 'god' had black eyes that at first seemed normal if not a bit misty looking, until Leon looked closer and realized that what he thought were pupils were miniature blackholes pulling in the light from the mysterious realm he found himself in.
As he looked even closer, he realized that what he thought was just the whites of the man's eyes were actually countless tiny symbols that were constantly flashing with a strange white light that subconsciously relaxed Leon's guard a bit even as he struggled to wrap his mind around the fact that he was one, facing a god and two, he really died in such an idiotic way and now was going to be reincarnated or something like that.
"I can see that you have a lot of questions and an almost unbelievable amount of understanding of your situation even if you seemed to have thought that all those things you read were only fiction.
So, I will just ask you to sit there while I explain what all will be happening in a moment" here the god paused to take in Leon's reaction. Knowing he could probably hear his thoughts and not sure what else to do he just nodded.
Nodding with a friendly smile the god began "Firstly, as I am sure you are aware of, you've died. The specifics of your situation before death have been mostly censored, including your own memory to prevent any leftover trauma from affecting your new life, but understand that someone very high up made a very bad mistake and as the primary victim you will be getting a premium reincarnation experience."
Here the god pauses while a grimace briefly overtakes his perfectly serene countenance before disappearing just as quickly as he turns to look at a screen that seems to peak into a different universe where the one called PrimalFire can be seen cackling madly as he types out a brand-new multiverse with the ease only an unhinged creator god could understand.
Clearing his throat that was suddenly feeling a little dry even though that shouldn't be possible for a being of his level, the god decided to just get on with the order from his master so that he could go back to lazily watching his own multiverse continue to develop "Well, suffice to say the great one who I serve has seen fit to give you three wishes of your choice up until a certain level of course. Besides that, I have been told to inform you that the multiverse you are going to will be host to a wide variety of universes that were considered fictional in your original dimension."
Hearing that, Leon couldn't help but feel an almost unstoppable surge of excitement making him feel that if he was still breathing, he would probably have died again. This was everything he had ever dreamed of, and Leon knew immediately that he would be jumping into a whole host of dangers and trials. Even so, he couldn't help but feel that it was all going to be worth it.
Unable to hold himself back Leon interrupted the being that could destroy and recreate our entire universe and turn everyone into talking pickles in the time it takes to boil a pot of tea "Hold on!! Are you telling me that I will have access to all these worlds from the beginning?" The god looked at the little fool mortal in front of him and sighed internally wondering not for the first time if it was really such a good idea to send one of these crazy primordial's back into a multiverse cluster even one the great PrimalFire had personally created just for this test.
Not even waiting for the god to respond Leon just barreled on with his thoughts running out of control the more he talked, "No, that's not important tell me is it going to be a giant crossover world? Or am I going to one anime with portals or some shit to allow me to visit other worlds? Or is it that I will stay in this world and go into the other worlds when I sleep? Or is it..." at that moment, the god waved his hand and Leon found himself unable to speak any longer.
"Now that I have your attention, I need you to understand that before I give you your three wishes the world you will be sent to will be a multiversal level world and you will be the young master of one of the strongest families of that dimension. With that being said, I understand you may be confused about what I mean but let me tell you now I can't tell you anything before you get there. What I can tell you is that your three wishes are being given to you to give you a chance of survival and the path to greatness.
Make no mistake though, with the position you will be in after reincarnation you will need the power and ability these wishes will give you just to be able to keep your place in that world. That being said, what powers would you like to have, as a final piece of info I'll let you know that everyone will have a system in the place you're going to."
Leon felt his 'head' buzz as he tried to adjust himself to all this new info that was being dumped on him. Feeling like he will just have to think about a way to ask the god for more info before he sends him off, Leon decided to contemplate the immediate issue, his wishes!
'Hmm, I know that there must be access to a whole lot of anime powers that I can probably get later so I need to think about what will help me the most now and in the long run. I guess I should make a list of the most important things if this is going to go how I think it will I probably am going to get 3 wishes with some sort of limit on the scale of the power.
The first thing I need is a way to protect myself and the best way I can think of is to wish for like a supreme physique... or maybe.'
As Leon continued to think about his options, he eventually came to his decision and prepared to speak to the god before him.
