Sylas' first thought when he saw the crown was his own. But the feel wasn't the same at all.
Then he remembered, his crown wasn't the only one he knew of, right? There were the King Beasts, of course, but those were very similar to his own. King Beasts seemed able to exert a control over the world around them that made them exceptionally powerful—far more so than their stats alone suggested. Of course, on top of having ridiculous stats as well.
Sylas' own crown was similar. It helped him influence control over the world. His Aether flowed faster, his Runes formed quicker, the Effectiveness of his stats also reached a new tier.
It was an all-arounder.
The Basilisk King's Crown, however, was different. It worked more specifically and yet it wasn't necessarily worse. The ability to raise all Skills to Gene Skills was enormous.
If Sylas had that for Berserk right now, just how much could he boost his Physical in exchange for his extraordinary Will?
