Sylas' vision swam, but he experienced something quite quickly that he had many times before almost immediately.
Danger.
He didn't even get to see what it was, and he couldn't move a single inch. Luckily, he felt a strong urge come from the depths of his Aether.
With a push, he expelled a large amount of Glassvolt Aether, forming a series of barriers.
Their shattering reverberated in his ears one after another before a strong force slammed against his chest.
A grunt left Sylas' lips as he was sent flying backward, his back slamming against heavy, hard rock that made no attempt to give way. All of the pressure was transferred directly to his body, and he almost felt his bones collapsing on him one after another.
Finally, Sylas' visualization cleared enough to see what was happening around him, his actual vision still lagging behind.
For a moment, he thought he was staring at the Bone-Tailed Lizard.
