Pov Dia,
Three years after Sairaorg-chan's birth, it was time to begin his hellish training.
He stood on guard, ready to follow my instructions for his training. Despite his young age, he understood his situation and knew he had to start training as early as possible to prove his strength.
Dia: "As you know, you have no talent. You lack the Bael lineage and therefore do not possess the Power of Destruction. I'm not sure whether you have inherited the Vapula family's power, but even if you did, it wouldn't be of much help to you."
Sairaorg: "I understand, Dia-sama."
I feel like I am facing a real military. I would have preferred for him to be more like a samurai than a soldier, but there was nothing I could do about it.
Dia: "Your lack of power puts you at a huge disadvantage from the start and has already deprived you of many things. But you must not weep—hold your head high and face the trials that await you."
I hope my speech doesn't demoralize him too much and instead gives him courage.
Dia: *"Many devils believe that demonic power or lineage determines everything. But if I had neither, like you, I would still reach a high-level Satan rank. So they can go play elsewhere. If you follow my intensive training, you will become stronger than someone who had the Power of Destruction at 13.
But you must never forget—Misla-chan loves you with all her heart, no matter how strong or weak you are. It is your duty to become strong to honor and protect her."*
Sairaorg: "But won't you protect her?"
Dia: "Of course, I will protect her, but I can't always be by her side. And I believe she would rather feel pride in her son than rely on her best friend for protection."
And although I feel more than just friendship for her, I would never force my feelings on her, especially when she is still recovering from her grief.
After this discussion, it was time to begin training.
Dia: "You are still too young to push your limits, but it won't hurt to start building a solid foundation in endurance. There is something that could be considered a game, but it requires a lot of effort."
One of the activities I thought of was jump rope. After a certain number of jumps, exhaustion sets in. It is also a good way to develop rhythm and balance the force you exert— the higher you jump, the more control you gain.
Dia: "You will jump rope until fatigue takes over. Then, after a short break, we will continue."
A few hours later, while Sairaorg-chan was taking a big sip of water, Inglis-chan, Riri, and So-tan arrived, accompanied by the maid duo.
Dia: "How are you, girls?"
Inglis: "Can we train with Sairaorg too, Mother?"
She was the only one who wanted to train because So-tan just wanted to watch, and in my opinion, Riri only wanted to join them for fun.
Dia: "I can't allow that, Inglis-chan. Even if I know you want to act like an adult, your body is still too young for training. You should enjoy playing and resting before you're old enough to practice."
She made an adorable face, but even though I loved her, I refused to give in. I didn't want her to suffer any consequences from training too early.
I made a few crimson-colored toys appear, as well as some small weapons engraved with harmless runes.
Dia: "But I remember that some children like to play at fighting, so you can play under the supervision of Rain and Misery. They will stop you when ten minutes have passed. And don't forget—this is not training, just a way to let off some steam and burn excess energy."
In the end, they played, imagining epic adventures based on my past battles, while I continued training my cousin.
