"senku is nowhere to be found, so he must be dead"
Gen told tsukasa as we arrived at the cave where he is sat down at somewhat like a stone throne.
My head was down, feeling upset that I had to leave so soon after a long time. Still I had to suck it up and pretend too.
"Is it true?"
I look up as tsukasa look at me, asking the question with a stern look. I nodded and agree.
"We only saw people like from the stone age and we didn't see, but as you can see we're in a mess from running away from those people."
I explained and saw him nods, believing my words as he tells as to get clean up and rest.
As I left, I immediately look around for my two closest friend I can lean on, yuzuriha and taiju. I found yuzuriha carrying somewhat clothes and suprised her. Making her startled and both suprised as I look like I was chased by a bear.
"What happened to you? You look like you're chased by a bear"
"Long story, I want you to come with me to bathe for a bit, will ya?"
Yuzuriha agrees and we went in a cave where there was warm water to bathe on, taiju took the liberty of guarding the entrance while we do our business.
It was just the two us women, so I freely told her what happened in a low tone, making sure no one can overheard it.
"For real? He's alive"
"Yeah, I'm not that suprised though since he's a smarty-pants"
I chuckled.
"But yeah he is"
"I'm glad, but why did gen agreed to lie that senku is dead?"
"Well about that....."
Flashback
"I made a deal with senku"
The mentalist told me on the way to the base camp.
"What did you tell him?"
"I asked him if he make it and he agreed on it, it's...."
End of flashback
"Senku agreed in exchange of cola?"
"Yeah he did and that's how he agreed to lie in exchange of a cold beverage"
I tell with a scoff, funny how he agreed on a deal like that, can't blame him though, I also want a cola and some chips while sightseeing somewhere. Yuzuriha softly chuckle. We both continue to soak and refreshen ourselves before coming out and dressed.
We came out the cave and thanked taiju for guarding the entrance, he smiled with a thumbs up.
"No problem ladies, if you need anything else and I'm ready to help"
Both yuzuriha and I smile and thanked him. The three of us proceeded to gather things requested like plants edible to eat and some big branches to make the fire later.
That night, I ate quietly with yuzuriha and taiju by the campfire. We then went to bed and slept beside yuzuriha.
I stir awake when I someone nudged my shoulder, I look up and see a pink haired girl shacking my shoulder. I sit up and asked.
"What is it?"
"Hyuga wants to speak with you"
Hyuga? Who's that?
I stood up and walked out the cave. We both walked up through the forest and arrived somewhere the moonlight shined bright and enough to see the ground and the other people still awake and saw hyuga. White hair and wearing a black mask while holding a spear.
Oh him, now I remember. He was beside tsukasa when I arrived earlier.
"Y/n L/n correct?"
"Uhm yes, why?"
He approaches, close enough to make me shudder, he was tall, built and worse is I can tell he can kill me if he wants to, making my skin shiver.
"How can I kill tsukasa?"
