Sally took out a large white box with mysterious patterns carved into its squarely cut sides from the System Space. "Young state living World Fruit? What is that?"
Xiaomei said, "It's like a fledgling that's just starting to take shape inside an eggshell, also known as a proto-world. Once it enters the next stage, it becomes an independent world and can no longer be consumed."
"Ah... so with one bite, I'm eating a whole world?"
"Yes, Host."
Suddenly, Sally felt a pang of reluctance, yet her body strongly craved it.
She opened the white box to find a plump fruit, the size of a watermelon. It had a brownish skin that collapsed at the lightest touch, like a water balloon, half cold with chill and half hot with heat.
"How do I eat this?" Sally asked Xiaomei.
"See the umbilical point in the middle? Insert a straw there and drink the juice inside." Xiaomei urged, "You have ten minutes left before it becomes solidified. Hurry, Host."
