Abandoned and rejected by everyone, Kael's wealthy family had always seen him as an insignificant son who did not know how to take responsibility.
As a result of Kael's humiliation, he is hated and cursed everywhere he goes even at school.
Kael's emotions are conflicted and he therefore represses them.
Kael boarded the train on his way home from school. As he found a seat, the other passengers began to whisper to each other, but Kael was used to it.
He had his noise-cancelling headphones on and was scrolling through his phone when he stumbled upon the news that had spread like wildfire.
A stalker had brutally assaulted a famous CEO's daughter, and the story was spreading rapidly online.
"They're still on about this," He said to himself.
In an instant, the train became unstable and accelerated rapidly. Unfortunately, it went off track.
But that was only the beginning. Before Kael could react, the train collided head-on with another train approaching from the opposite direction.
----------Thorenheim--------
As the fire continued to spread, the city's crisis worsened, the citizens fled in terror, and the magical knights tried all they could to put and end to it but it seemed the fire only increased.
Most of the citizens had died, their bodies laid on the ground like sack cloths getting stumped on by those who ran for their lives.
The demon--Khaos, had been awakened, it sought for souls all over Thorenheim, raining fire on every form of life.
The soldiers and magical knights were dropping like flies, "We can't stop it! It's growing even bigger!" a knight exclaimed.
Khaos' shadow had covered the kingdom like a total solar eclipse, and it's horn of fire continued to rain fire on them.
The Crystalhaven Academy highly ranked water mages could put no end to it and two of them died as a result but despite all their effort, the destruction continued.
------------------------------
The sirens echoed in the air, people screamed for help and the smoke had cover the air.
The trains were shattered and had crushed the passengers inside of them, but only two people survived; a middle aged woman and high school boy who was not Kael.
"What's going on? I can't...move my body" Kael said within him, he was too weak to move, speak or even open his eyes.
Kael realised he was about to die, "It crashed...where do I go now, Heaven or Hell...I think Hell will do".
He was stuck between rocks and the heavy metal door of the train, Kael accepted it, he was tired of living anyway and his mind slowly went blank.
Just when he thought he had died, Kael found himself in a void, filled with eerie distorted voices and sounds of swords clashing against each other.
His body glowed with a dark red aura surrounding him, he opened his eyes and looked upon himself, and he was dumbstruck.
"What the hell is this?" he asked himself, he could move, blink, and speak, but his body felt weightless, as if he was floating.
He looked around, and found large red eyes staring into his soul.
"Welcome, welcome Kael" the demon said with a hint of excitement.
Kael stepped back but where was he running to? It was all empty.
"You have been chosen to wield my power! Make it yours, because the world you're about to experience is different, power is everything! All your desires could be granted! Imagine attending a school that enhances your abilities--Crystalhaven Academy! But-" The demon paused.
The information he had just dropped on Kael was like a weight on his shoulders, he was confused as to why it was happening to him.
He raised his eyebrows, "Is this some kind of deal?" He asked.
The demon nodded, "Kael, you have been given a second chance to prove yourself worthy of your destiny, the outcome will be positive, I assure you. But in exchange, you must give me full control of yourself when necessary. Your consent is all I need for every step of your transformation, do you understand the terms?" the demon asked.
Kael accepted the deal without hesitation, and with excitement, the demon--Vorgath became one with Kael's soul.
----------Thorenheim--------
Khaos roared continuously and the fire didn't stop. Kael had been reincarnated into an orphans body whose sister was working healing magic on him.
Kael opened his eyes and gasped for air, it was like he had just came out from the sea.
The girl sitting next to him on the ground hugged him in an instant, and in that moment, the orphan's memory was transferred to Kael.
"Yalcin you scared me!" the girl exclaimed.
"This is who you reincarnated me as?" Kael telepathically communicated with the demon which was the only way they could, since they became one.
"Well, you have much to learn" Vorgath replied.
"Maya..." Kael blurted out as the girl pulled away from him, she gave him a smile and nodded.
Maya was a delicate-looking girl with hazel eyes and dark orange, curly hair that reached her waist. Her pale skin was marred by faint bruises, giving her an air of vulnerability.
Maya's clothes appeared to be handmade, with rough-hewn edges held together by sturdy ropes. A length of rope also served as a makeshift belt, wrapped around her waist to keep her garments in place.
"We have to find a way to help the knights!" Maya's desperation to help was surprisingly fierce.
Kael managed to stand up, "I have an Idea, but we just need to get closer" he said.
They were about to leave when they heard a scream from behind.
Flames engulfed the surrounding area, trapping a woman who had a screaming child in her arms. The child's wails were relentless, fuelled by the scorching heat.
Kael's body reacted before his mind could. "You don't just stare, Kael!" Vorgath said.
Kael levitated the woman and child to safety, lifting them out of the fiery circle. "Run!" Maya shouted, and the woman sprinted away, with the child clutched tightly in her arms.
