They enjoyed a wonderful meal. With Gong Heng there, Mu Mian just had to focus on eating while he took care of the grilling.
Gong Heng grilled the meat with his jacket off, revealing a white shirt underneath, sleeves rolled up. The billowing smoke couldn't obscure his handsome features. The lines on his forehead were full yet gentle, his deep eyes like a starry sea.
Mu Mian, holding her stomach, felt like she couldn't eat another bite.
She let out a lazy belch, "Brother, I'm so full."
Gong Heng looked at her with an indulgent smile.
Having consumed three large portions of grilled meat by herself, if she wasn't full, she might have eaten the restaurant out of business.
Gong Heng said softly, "Rest for a bit first. You've eaten too much. Let it digest a while."
"Okay."
Mu Mian sat in her spot, sipping on a glass of orange juice.
Gong Heng kept the remaining meat on the grill, grilling and eating slowly and deliberately.
