Hex listened to Medina's explanation with utmost focus. They sat side by side in the pod which could seat four people. The divisions between the front and back rows helped to converse in a whisper without alerting Cyantha's mother and Jade.
They both looked surprised when the girl they believed to be shy and timid took her seat in the back row in the seat beside Hex. They didn't say anything though. Hex caught Jade trying to peek at them now and again, but the tight seating hindered her movements.
