The creature beneath his feet resembled a fusion of an octopus and a jellyfish, its surface extremely slippery and covered with a soft membrane that had a crystalline appearance.
In addition, the creature's physical strength was very high. Although Sterl had only used part of his power in that last kick, it was enough to crush a god.
Yet, this creature, only its head had been crushed, while its body remained completely unscathed.
Not only that, but the strange illusion he had just entered was likely created by this thing. If it weren't for his exceptionally strong mental and spiritual fortitude, along with enough vigilance, he might not have even noticed anything unusual.
In other words, even an upper-tier divine authority, if dragged silently into such a strange illusion by this creature, might not be able to escape and would likely have their sanity gradually devoured.
