The news of war was not made public just yet; the council who governed Metos feared the outcome of doing so. The choice was given:
"Give or keep."
At that very moment, while decisions were being made, the Holy Empire's army had already marched across the plains, ready to cross the border.
Awaiting answers, the prince was eager for both results.
"Cavalry is ready on both sides; soldiers are ready to march. We're not expecting retaliation from their soldiers."
The knight commander entered the prince's tent.
Prince Charles sipped hot tea and told the commander to sit down.
"We'll pass through each city until we reach the main city, Ezhares. With no response, we will begin the death parade. Let them march!"
"Yes, your Highness!" The commander exited the tent, and the ground started to shake.
The cavalry began to gallop, and the knights charged to take the first city.
"Kill the ones who oppose! Let it be known that the Holy Empire has set out to take over!"
