I kept tabs on Silas and Alys after that and soon realized they were even closer than I had initially assumed.

Silas, the classic tsundere, had an amusing pattern when it came to Alys. He would storm into her lair, pick a fight over some trivial matter, and then return with a flushed face and an oddly dreamy smile—completely unaware of how transparent he was. It didn't take much effort to confirm that he was hopelessly smitten.

Ruya and Darren, ever the keen observers, were my most reliable sources of information. They delivered their reports with an enthusiasm that could rival that of seasoned spies. According to them, Silas's so-called arguments with Alys were less about actual disputes and more of a bizarre courtship ritual. Apparently, after every heated exchange, Silas would linger just a bit longer, his words becoming softer, his gaze lingering a little too much, only to stomp out at the last moment as if fleeing from his own emotions.
