" What's with the beauty enhancement " a cold voice rang in Damian's ear as he turned to the owner of the voice, " Mother, ah I was looking for you " he said walking to a woman sitting on a couch near the balcony, she had a newspaper held over her face, from her features and looks you could tell that she was still quite very young maybe thirty eight.
" How did you see me when you face is covered with a newspaper " he said taking a sit beside her, she wore a long plain night gown with reading glasses on her eyes despite being yet so young, " I carried you for nine months so I can sense you miles away " she replied turning the next page of her papers.
" Oh ", " Have you awakened your ability yet " she asked not removing her eyes from what she was reading, " Yes " he answered pouring a cup of hot chocolate into an empty cup, " What is it ", Damian paused for a while steering the liquid with a spoon.
" Elemental Manipulation " he replied taking a sip, his mother slowly dropped her papers, the piercing gaze of her dark eyes finding way to his heart aiming to strike him dead in an instant, " I can conjure the eight elements and imply them in combat as a warrior " he picking up the remote control.
He was facing the Tv and his mother faced him, " That's impossible Damian, I didn't know you as a lier, people only unlock one element in their lifetime and it's even very rare to see a dual elemental user talk less of one who could use eight " his mother replied.
She was a stern cold person who deep down cared for her family although she didn't show it to them, a special thing about her was her ability to dictate lies from a distance, Well she works for the military and was trained in multiple aspects, Damian had no other choice but to show her, he sighed and raised a finger.

A flaming ball appeared above his finger so circular, perfect and so beautiful that it hypnotized anyone that would stare at it for to long, in an instant it took a dark blue color while still maintaining it's perfect form.
It turned green symbolizing air then turned brown which was earth, further it became white with a purple outline that was lightning, it turned into ice blue which was paler than normal blue, then it became transparent with a faint yellow outline and ripples travelling constantly representing sound.
Finally it turned silvery grey meaning metal before dispersing into the air, Damian crossed a leg above the other while it was on the center table, he slowly sipped his hot chocolate as he watched a television program.
" Help people with it ", " Ehh ", " You are strong and have a limitless potential, help people with" she said with a serious expression on her face, Damian turned to her but turned away seconds later, " Yes ma " he replied.
' As if ' he said to himself resting his head on the couch and falling asleep, " Who still takes early morning naps, well prepare yourself your sister and father are returning today." Scarlet said to herself standing up and leaving the room, he slept till two in the afternoon, when he woke up he had something to eat before heading out for the day.
Before going out he snagged a mask that looked like the face of a joker in cards he used to play, it had holes for eyes and a smiley mouth with red lips, it also had a small position for his nose, On the left eye of the mask was a red line that trailed down to the chin as if it was a tear drop.
He wouldn't want too much attention so he firmly locked it in his face before casually strolled around the village observing people and their activities, " Damian " Someone called all of a sudden, he turned around to meet the warm smile of Drake.
This was the boy he saved which started the war between he and the witches, He was Drake and his Sister was Annabelle, Damian was quite shocked as he expected no one to recognize him and never in the world Drake, they shaked hands and greeted each other.
" How did you know it was me " he asked a bit surprised at his recognition, " Well I know the way you smell " Drake replied as they walked through the village, " Scrap that how've you been " Drake said again, " Good, getting into troubles now and then " he replied.
" Well I got some Intel that you have been investigating on the coven that attacked me and my sister " he said, Damian was now sceptical, who was this kid, first he knew him by his scent and now he knew that he was after a coven.
" I won't ask how you know and yes I am after them, they attacked me some time ago " Damian replied, " I don't know your reasons but I want to tell you that I will join you, they attacked me and my sister out of nowhere please Damian let me help you take them down " Drake pleaded.
" It's to dangerous Drake go home and training for the knighthood test " Damian said walking away but was stopped by drake who held his hand, " They are planning something big, I can feel it, I have been following a particular group of people which I suspect to be witches and I could gain information why the strong children in this village always die mysteriously " he explained.
' Now this is something ' Damian said to himself, " Okay, Drake since you insist in your need for involvement with those puppy eyes I would let you on this time so let's go for some research " he replied fixing his mask safely in place.
" Why are you wearing a mask " Drake asked leading him to the village's library, " I just hit puberty and need no positive attention " He responded, ' But you hit puberty years ago ' Drake said to himself, They passed many landmarks which Damian marked in case he needed to visit the library.
A soccer field that was always crowded with boys of different ages, a big shot weapon shop and besides the village's only alchemist shop was the glorious wonderful keep of knowledge.
Damian's hand shivered as he was lead into the gigantic building, upon entering it he was awestruck, " so many books " he said walking straight to the shelves while Drake walked up to the librarian to check both of them in.
The books here were more than he had access to, well to his family's libraries, you get the fact I said libraries, take note of the ies meaning more than one which meant they were numerous containing nearly countless books that held deep significant secrets.
Now he could come here to read although it costed ten iron coins per visit but money wasn't a problem for Damian, he took a sit eager to learn more about this world, it's history and also it magic pattern as that would give him a go at earning total mastery of his human system.
Drake carried a pile of books to the table and dumped it there before sliding a card to Damian and taking a sit, " I picked something about history and witches " he said taking a book to begin the research, Damian took on to which was titled ' Tyranny Of Mankind ', from the book he learnt that billions of years ago nothing dwelt on this planet.
But the Supreme Creator noticed it's potential and worked on it, first he created a star for it and light appeared on the planet then he created a massive portions of water bodies that occupied nearly seventy percent of the world's surface.
He then created the sky, the beasts and vegetation with everything that could be found on the planet except the governing race of the world so he brought elements and used them to craft humanoid beings and that was how the planet earth and it's features were crafted by the divine will of the Supreme Creator.
