And then she looked at Loren, "Did you hear Romeo's voice? Is he here?"
Loren sighed, and went towards one of the mercenary soldiers, patting on his shoulder he murmured, "Boss, what are you doing? Weren't you planning on ghosting her for a day?"
"I have changed my mind," the soldier said and removed his glasses and mask. Spreading his arms, he smiled at her, "Karenina. My Karenina. You are finally back."
That moment Karenina saw him, her feet instinctively moved, her eyes filled with tears. She ran towards him, her hair flying in the air elegantly as she threw herself in his arms.
Wrapping her hands around his waist, she buried her face against his firm chest and cried anxiously. Romeo smiles, embracing her close and kisses on her head, his hands gently patting on her back.
Both were quiet for quite a few minutes until Karenina muttered under her sobbing voice, "You went too far with your pursuit."
