Kazi opened his eyes and saw a vast ocean. Beneath his sandals was sand. 'Wait, sandals?' He peered down. His normal shoes were gone, replaced by sandals, as were his black garbs, replaced by shorts and a long black coat.
'My clothes, my armour…what happened to them?' Kazi inspected the coat on him. 'Quilted layers of indigo cotton cloth. The back has white cotton thread—ah, I remember. This is Sashiko. What I'm wearing looks to be a…'
"Sashiko no donza. Fishermen festival coats. They went out of fashion in the 1930s. So why am I…" Kazi turned around, left eye pulsing. "...and everyone else wearing them?"
