With great trepidation, Ace looked at the screen. There were several pictures of Fay sneaking out of the house with his grandmother.
Different videos of them in different places. His heart couldn't take whatever he was seeing anymore.
He was tossing the phone back to Reign when Fay broke into a run.
"Ace!" Makayla screamed as he followed after her, the phone falling out of his hands.
"Leave them alone!" Colin held her back.
Reign couldn't contain her smile, because she knew this was only the beginning.
Fay didn't exactly know where she was headed. All she knew was that she couldn't possibly hover around these people anymore.
It was hard enough having to pretend to be in a real marriage with a man of Ace's status, but add in a vindictive ex, and it was impossible.
She could have handled things when there was no baby in the picture. But what kind of monster would she be to continue to pretend, when Ace could just be happy with the mother of his child?
