The moonlight just arose, the world shrouded in mist, faintly the birds chirped, the river water surged.
Standing atop the cliff, beholding the vast earth, a surge of pride arose in my chest. The ancients, when viewing the roaring Yellow River and rushing Yangtze River, probably felt the same. All people had left my side, leaving only a bird perched on my shoulder, head tucked under its wing, sleeping sweetly.
"Sir, isn't the view lovely?"
Gu Tao turned around and saw a young man in white standing behind him, dressed neatly, with a scholarly aura. He vaguely remembered this person who had attended his classes for a long time.
"Aren't you resting this late?"
Answering with a smile, Gu Tao turned back to enjoy the view, as his heart hadn't felt this tranquil in a long time. Strangely enough, the larger things are, the more oppressive they feel, yet this vast expanse of stars and earth always brings peace to the heart.
