These five days will be Gaven's new round of learning on spells and special abilities. Although Philancy is not a Psychic Sorcerer, many things only differ in the paths they take, but ultimately lead to the same destination.
For instance, Psychic Rebirth is a version of Resurrection for those with special abilities, with the ultimate goal of resurrecting the deceased.
However, there are significant differences between the two. The ability of Resurrection can be effective within several days of the deceased's death, as long as the corpse has not been destroyed or decomposed, but it requires at least five thousand gold's worth of diamonds and the process is excruciatingly painful. The deceased either loses a Life Dice, and if they only have one Life Dice, they will permanently lose one point of Constitution.
