And this is just the central part of the City of Faith, it's inevitable to have fortress bastions rising at both the east and west bridgeheads, this part is naturally made of stone. Instead of quarrying from the Stormhorn Mountains, the stone was directly sourced along the riverbed of the Wild Border River, where they found a suitable quarry spot to carry out semi-underground mining.
The Wild Border River is formed by the protruding branches of two mountains, and many of its riverbeds are not accumulated with silt but washed incredibly clean, exposing the stone bed. Sourcing stones from here and transporting them upwards saves much more time and effort than quarrying from the Stormhorn Mountains.
The West Bridge Fortress is built standardly, forming a huge semicircle, with an area inside the walls that can accommodate at least five thousand troops and civilians.
