To obtain something, one must pay the corresponding price, even demons know this truth.

If there has to be a reason that labor must be cheap, Marvin could only argue from the perspective of national interest. But if a country, this government, is established for the people, then obtaining cheap labor through harming the people seems distasteful.

Marvin and Levin had once discussed "delayed justice." Marvin's answer was: if the delay is due to a lack of capability, then such delayed justice should still be considered justice.

But if one has the capability and deliberately chooses not to act, instead intentionally delaying, is that still justice?

The former is wanting to act but lacking capability, and once capable, they act. The latter has the capability but chooses not to act, all the while parading under the banner of justice.

That's somewhat nauseating.

Marvin chose the former.
