Qiao Xiguan sat in Qi Lingfeng's car, leaving the village behind.
The village was truly isolated, with the country road winding and twisting.
Qiao Xiguan felt a bit nauseous.
"How much further?" Qiao Xiguan asked, wondering how she had ended up being dragged here in the first place.
"A little while longer," Qi Lingfeng said. "There's medicine for motion sickness in the box in front of you, find it yourself. There's also mineral water inside."
Not wanting to suffer, Qiao Xiguan was about to open the compartment to get the medicine when suddenly she felt the car jolt, its speed noticeably increasing. Caught off guard, her head slammed against the compartment, causing excruciating pain.
"Qi Lingfeng, did you do that on purpose? You..." Qiao Xiguan lifted her head and saw Qi Lingfeng's suddenly stern face. A bad feeling washed over her as she saw, through the rearview mirror, several cars that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, chasing them closely.
